Anarvah sells dietary supplements direct to consumers. Order volumes were growing month on month and the founder was still handling fulfilment personally. The paperwork was scaling with sales, and it was starting to cap how much the business could sell.
Every order meant the same sequence, done by hand: confirm the order, pull the line items into the system, generate a packing slip, email the customer, update the tracking number. One order was maybe 4 minutes, but with 60+ orders a day it added up to a full day of the week spent moving information between systems. Orders got missed, customers emailed to chase, and the founder was doing the work that should have been a review step.
Order intake was the obvious candidate. What surprised us was the picking list, the second opportunity they hadn't considered. It was cheap to fix and had been quietly annoying the team for months.
Roughly 8 hours a week back to the founder. Turnaround went from 24 hours to under one, and the follow-up emails stopped because the updates stopped being missed. Running cost is a low single-digit percentage of the value of the time it saves, stated plainly, no surprises on the first invoice.
The customer data was split across two systems that didn't talk to each other. Getting them to agree on what an 'order' was took longer than building the automation. It's the kind of thing that looks like five minutes in a demo and five days in reality.
“I'd looked at AI tools before and always came away thinking they were built for companies much bigger than us. Grapine started with how we actually work rather than what the technology could do, which is why it stuck. Eight hours a week back on fulfilment, and my team didn't have to change the way they work to get it. I'd point any founder running a lean operation their way.”
